How do I use it?
STEP 1: Swipe a pea-sized amount of CLUTCH onto your skin and spread it around a large surface area with the applicator head.
For thicker fabrics, we recommend a thick application of CLUTCH and a thinner application for thin fabrics.
STEP 2: Leave CLUTCH to get tacky for around 30 seconds.
STEP 3: Place clothes onto CLUTCH and pat down gently.
STEP 4: Set a timer for 10 minutes and minimise your movement while CLUTCH dries.
STEP 5: When the timer is done, tug at your clothes to test CLUTCH’s strength and dab a little more glue in places that don’t feel secure.
How do I remove it?
CLUTCH comes our easily with water. No need for soap or any special cleaners!
STEP 1: Carefully peel clothes from your skin or, for a more gentle removal, saturate the glued area with a wet cloth to loosen the glue before peeling. We recommend the second option for people who are wearing fake tan.
STEP 2: Rinse skin with water or wipe with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
STEP 3: Wash your clothes as per the care instructions. For dry clean only items, spot clean the glue with a wet cloth then take to the dry cleaner as usual.
What are your pro tips?
TIP 1 - Dry time is the most important
Minimising movement until the glue is dry is ESSENTIAL for both thick and thin application to ensure CLUTCH will hold you in all night long.
TIP 2 - Be more heavy handed than you think
Don't be afraid to spread your CLUTCH around. Apply a pea-sized amount of glue and use the applicator head to spread it around the largest surface area possible so your clothes have HEAPS to hold on to. This will ensure your outfit stays on all night long.
TIP 3 - Thick = thick, thin = thin
We don't want CLUTCH seeping through your clothes, nor do we want them to fall off you almost immediately. Make sure you do give CLUTCH a trial run before any important events so you get a feel for it first.
The general rule though is to apply a thin application of CLUTCH for thin fabrics, and thicker for thick fabrics.
For your thinner fabrics like silk and lace, spreading CLUTCH nice and thin and letting it get tacky ensures it won't seep through the fabric. If you find it doesn't feel secure enough, apply CLUTCH thinly but over a larger surface area of skin.
For thicker fabrics, be a little more heavy handed with the thickness of CLUTCH and be aware the glue might take longer to dry with this application, so hold the fabric in place while it dries.
